About Us

The Trilateral Partnership for Food Security Program (TPFSP) is a collaborative program between three universities in United States of America, India and Kenya, with the aim of improving food security in Kenya.

The above mentioned universities are: Ohio State University (OSU) in the United States of America, Punjab agricultural University (PAU) in India and Egerton University (EGU) in Kenya.

OSU has collaborated with EGU in the past and has a long history of collaborations with PAU going back to 1955. Building on these past relationship OSU will galvanize the relationship between EGU and PAU to form an effective and sustainable partnership that will strengthen EGU’s capacity to address emerging challenges in the food and agriculture sector.

The project is funded by the USDA (United State Department of Agriculture) through USAID (United State Agency for International Development).
